Located off of the Links Road, South Beach, Blyth, Northumberland. You can reach Coastline by car, or public transport – via the local bus network and soon to be rail links.
Free parking is available directly outside, in Mermaid car park. Here you can find 250 parking spaces, including disabled parking and electric charging bays.
Perfectly situated, our restaurant overlooks Blyth beach, which boasts three miles of golden sands, stretching from Blyth West Pier in the north, to the entrance of Seaton Sluice harbour in the south. Why not pop along for an afternoon stroll, or bring the whole family and enjoy the local play area.
Steeped in history, you can find Blyth Battery high on the dunes, the remnants of a World War One coastal artillery battery that was upgraded and re-fitted for use in World War Two. Spring through Autumn the battery is open to visitors, to learn more about this historic landmark.
Nature on your door step. The sandy dunes that run along our shoreline are a designated Local Nature Reserve and a haven for wildlife. Diverse plant species can be found here, alongside rare migrant birds, reptiles and invertebrates.
